Turkey and Leaf Template These templates can be used for a

Chain - First, print one of the turkey patterns from
preschool express (five or eight in.)on brown or orange paper. Decorate the turkey as you wish.(color, add feathers, leaves, etc.)Or

a slit in the bottom of the turkey.
Print as many chain links
as you need.(there are 17 to a page) Every day in November have children
write something for which they are thankful on a link and attach it to
the chain.

Fall HatThis is an easy craft idea (If you can get the paper bags). If I
did this with kids, I would not paint the bag but would leave it the
natural color. If you don't have fall leaves, print out leaf
patterns and have the children paint or color them.Use

Easy Pilgrim HatI would go one step further with this and paint
the top part of the hat with glue solution(1/3 water to 2/3 white glue).
Use a large brush. This will stiffen the top so that it doesn't colapse
as easily

ripples around the edge). Use edge for girl's hat and collars. Cut
hat from black paper, add ribbon to lady Pilgrim, and glue yellow yarn

directions for a paper bag turkey centerpiece, pilgrim hats, and more
Make a Thanksgiving Wall
Hanging Print and cut banner on sides and bottom only. Bend and glue top of
sheet over an 8" dowel rod. Tie yarn to dowel rod and hang banner on the
wall. (an alternative is to print the banner on card stock and then cut
out banner, punch holes in top and attach yarn)
Kids
Table Puzzle Placemats Choose from several placemats with coloring
or puzzles on them. There are also kids table decorations at this site.
